Chamber meets Rwandan Olympic Team Representative
Chairman Rick Wildridge met Daniel Beniston, Envoy for the Rwandan Olympic Team at the Bury Farmer's Club recently to discuss the possibility of the team making its base in Bury St Edmunds for the 2012 games. Rick assured Mr Beniston the the team would find a warm welcome in Bury St Edmunds. The excellent sports facilities at the Bury St Edmunds Sports Centre are the main attraction for the team and it would be a great boost for Bury to host an Olympic team. We hope to hear their decision in the next couple of weeks.
